Junaid Ahmed Palak was born on 17 May 1980 in the village of Teligram in Sherokol union under Singra upazila of Natore district. His father Mr. Fayzuddin Ahmed and mother Begum Jamilah Ahmad Mr. Foyez Uddin Ahmed was a politician who was inspired by the ideology of Bangabandhu who as the general secretary of Singra Thana Awami League, played the role of organizer in the Chalanbail region of the great liberation war of 1971.
Mr. Palak passed SSC examination in the first division (Star Marks and with five marks in Letter Marx) from Singra Damdama Pilot School and College in 1995 and passed the HSC examination in first division (with Letter Marx in two subjects) from Rajshahi Government College in 1997. Later, he obtained graduation, postgraduate (LLB) and LLB degree from National University. At the end of his education, he was appointed in the law profession and member of the Supreme Court Bar Council of Bangladesh. He completed the Capstone Course from National Defense College (NDC) in Mirpur, Dhaka.
He had a very strong presence in various co-curricular activities including debate, present speech, poetry recitation, singing and sports in the student life. In many competitions including the Education Week and Children's Monsoon, many awards have been rewarded at the upazilas, districts and divisional levels. He was also at the same time as a playful organizer and talented athlete in local sports. While studying in sixth, he founded 'Dostom Club', which later became the center of various social cultural activities, including sports. He is a zealous activist of Scout Andalan. In 1994, the Asia-Pacific Scout held in Gazipur, Moucha was the leader of the Jamburite. He is the advisor to the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) franchise distant Rajshahi.
After passing the HSC examination, despite having the opportunity to read many famous fame in the country, he was admitted to Singra Gol-e-Afroz Government College, Natore District, from the perspective of staying next to the people of his locality and doing something for them, and initiating political life through the participation of the traditional student organization Bangladesh Chhatra League. Do it. Later, at the age of 18, he was elected the VP of the College Student Parliament. At the end of his student life, he joined Bangladesh Awami League, Singra Upazila unit as a general member.
He was elected a member of the Jatiya Sangsad from Natore-3 (Singra) 60 in the 9th parliamentary elections held on 29 December 2008, as a nominated candidate for Bangladesh Awami League. He was the youngest member of the ninth parliament. At this time, he was important in the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, and Private Members of the Standing Committee on Bill and decision resolution. He was also the co-convenor of All Party Parliamentary Committee on Climate Change.
He was elected a member of the Central Executive Committee of Bangladesh Awami League at the age of 32 in 2012. In the January 5, 2014 national election, Awami League participated as a candidate. After the re-election of this election, the Honorable Prime Minister, Bangabandhu daughter-in-law, Sheikh Hasina, included Junaid Ahmed Palak in her new cabinet. He was sworn in as state minister at the age of 33 years and 8 months on January 12, 2014. He is the youngest member of the current cabinet.
She is married to Mrs Arifa Jasmine (Konica). His wife is a postgraduate in psychology and a lecturer in profession. Apurba Junaid, Acquired Junaid and Anirban Junaid, they have three children. He has traveled to different countries of the world, including United States, UK, China, India, Norway, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, South Korea, Brazil, to participate in the United Nations General Assembly including government tour, summit, seminars, workshops and training programs. He has deep affection for all types of modern technology, especially information technology, law and good governance, environment, music and art literature. He took special initiative for extensive forestry in his constituency (Singra upazila) and distributed five lakh saplings to the public free of cost. As a recognition, he was awarded the National Environment Award by the Honorable Prime Minister in 2010.
